Lone Tree Dentists Dr. James DeLapp and Dr. H. Candace DeLapp discuss the importance of regular and complete dental examinations.  In the past few weeks we have picked up some dental pathology that needed to be evaluated for its significance.  Fortunately, all the cases have been benign but early detection of dental disease, gum disease of pathology is important. Our Lone Tree dentists also serve the Denver, Ken Caryl, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Parker, Castle Pines, Parker and Denver Tech Center area.

Recently we saw a patient who had never (or at least remembered) having a full mouth series of dental x-rays or panorex of her jaw.  A full mouth series of x-rays is some twenty pictures of your jaw.  It is used the the examination for dental cavities, gum disease, and dental pathology.  In this case we found a  large radio-opaque area on their jaw.  While most likely a benign condition referral to a specialist was made to rule out more sinister conditions.

Our Lone Tree Colorado dentists recommend

Our Lone Tree Colorado Dentists recommend twice a year examinations (at a minimum some patients need more frequent) in order to detect dental of oral conditions at their earliest stages. Please feel free to look at our companion web sites dental care library for additional dental information. It can be found by clicking on the following link Lone Tree Colorado dental care library.
